Is cleaning included in the accommodation cost?

The cost of cleaning is included in your stay, and the frequency of cleaning is outlined on the accommodation details page on our website.

Simpson Travel has always required the highest standards of cleaning from our partners and property owners. In particular:

  • Cleaners pay special attention to high-touch areas throughout the accommodation. These include light switches, remote controls, hairdryers, safes, bathroom and kitchen surfaces, kitchen utensils, keys and handrails.

  • A hypochlorite solution is used to thoroughly disinfect the accommodation before each new arrival.

  • All bedding is laundered using cycles where temperatures are maintained at 65°C for a minimum of ten minutes, or 71°C for at least three minutes.

  • Hotel and villa owners are required to regularly test pool chlorine and pH levels to ensure a safe environment for our guests.
